Living with POWER

I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to the 4th of July when I’ll be with friends and family spending some time together and watching the fireworks show.

The fireworks are exciting, aren’t they?! They are the highlight of night, especially for the kids, but it’s always disappointing when one of those rockets just fizzles because those rockets aren’t made to fizzle, they’re made to be brilliant and powerful, and to soar high above the earth…with POWER!

In Christ, we too are designed to be brilliant, reflecting God towards others in our lives; our good works should glorify our Father in heaven! I encourage you to accomplish “the work of faith with power, that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in” you.

Too many Christians fizzle in their faith…let’s live our lives with POWER unto the Lord!

“Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
– 2 Thessalonians 11-12
