Every season has moments that cause me to REALLY enjoy them but for me there is something extra special about Fall. It makes me feel like it’s time to slow down a bit and take time to regroup. July 2010

It’s good to live in Southern California where you can go to the beach or to the mountains when it’s hot and not have that long of a drive to get there. Summer is here and Isaiah has been asking for about a month now to go to the beach…even 6 year-olds know! Living with POWER

POWER! I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to the 4th of July when I’ll be with friends and family spending some time together and watching the fireworks show. The fireworks are exciting, aren’t they?! They are the highlight of night, especially for the kids, but it’s always disappointing when one of those rockets just fizzles because those rockets aren’t made to fizzle, they’re made to be brilliant and powerful, and to soar high above the earth…with POWER!...

Life is Short – Do Foolish Things!

Have you ever thought about the brevity of life? I read up on what’s going on in our world only to realize once more how everything that man is pursuing will one day be gone. It’s when someone suddenly stops in their journey of life that people briefly give their own lives a “once over” but yet continue with what they were doing. It seems like many people are numb to mortality and life just doesn’t mean much to them; a paycheck, acquiring some stuff and looking good in front of a virtual world that doesn’t really care....
