APC Lifeline Rescue Lamb & Kid is the only serum-based colostrum replacer formulated specifically for newborn lambs and kids. Made from natural bovine serum, the highly concentrated powder delivers complete nutrition in small feedings that are easy for baby animals to eat and digest.
Rescue Lamb & Kid provides energy plus 88 grams of total protein (based on body weight) to ensure your newborns thrive. Feed Rescue Lamb & Kid may be given to preemies, multiples and orphans, during extreme weather and stressful conditions, and when colostrum is in short supply.
How to Use
- Body weight will determine the amount of Rescue Lamb & Kid to feed. Begin feedings as soon as possible following birth and give 18 grams of powder per pound of body weight over 24 hours.
- For each feeding, mix 1/4 cup of powder into 4 ounces of warm (105°F/40°C) water. Stir until the powder dissolves completely.
- Bottle-feed the entire mixture to the animal. Only mix enough Rescue Lamb & Kid for one feeding at a time.
