Silkworms are a high source of Calcium, Protein, Iron, Magnesium, Sodium, and Vitamins B1, B2, and B3. Silkworms look and taste better to most animals than many other types of feeders. Silkworms are low in fat, making them an excellent option as a staple feeder. 

Perfect for all insect-eating reptiles like geckos, dragons, monitors, etc. Also great for softbills like mynah birds and many types of finches. Chickens love them, and the calcium / protein is vital for laying hens. 

Silkworms are higher in calcium and protein than crickets, mealworms, and most other common pet feeders. The high protein aspect means that by feeding Silkworms to an injured pet, it will help them recover quicker than if you were to be feeding it an alternative feeder, as the protein element helps heal and grow injured tissues. The high protein also just generally helps make your reptiles stronger than if they were to be fed another feeder. Because of their high calcium content, Silkworms are especially beneficial for gravid females, as they allow for the development, of many, healthy, fertile eggs.

Silkworms are easy to take care of, and last almost a week without food living for up to a month up until they cocoon. You can easily grow your Silkworm to your desired size, upwards to three inches, by feeding them Silkworm Chow
