The installer is for correct installation of interference-fit spline half shafts on Escort/Lynx, Tempo/Topaz, and Taurus/Sable cars. From the Manufacturer The OEMTOOLS Multi-Purpose Bearing and Pulley can be used for pulling, bearings, alternators, generators, power steering and crankshaft pulleys, timing gears and harmonic balances.
- Removes Front Hubs: The hub puller removes the front hubs of most FWD vehicles without damaging wheel bearing; For front hub or CV axles
- Features 2 Installer Tools: The installers are for damage-free installation of interference-fit half shafts when doing front wheel bearing service or half shaft replacement
- Hub Puller: Lubricate the forcing bolt and use hand tools to tighten the forcing bolt through the secured puller; Not intended to be used with air or power tools
- Long Lasting Tool: The forcing bolt has been heat treated for added toughness; For best results and longer utility, lubricating the forcing bolt before use is strongly recommended
