We exist to create a community known for their faith and sense of family, where everyone can experience an ongoing personal encounter with Jesus.
At Refuge Bible Fellowship, our desire is to see God grow people into passionate disciples of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

To walk with God and grow spiritually, it’s an absolute necessity to be involved in a church. The Bible instructs us to “consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” – Hebrews 10:24-25
Our Mission
Our mission at Refuge Bible Fellowship is to Revitalize, Fortify, and Release soul-winners for Jesus Christ. Everything from Sunday and Midweek services, to Bible studies, and ministries is to fulfill this mission.

TO REVITALIZE people with new life and vitality through a regenerating relationship with Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

TO FORTIFY disciples of Jesus Christ by strengthening and reinforcing their faith through their knowledge of the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15).

TO RELEASE passionate disciples of Jesus Christ, with great support, to fulfill God’s calling on their lives (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Our Values
If you were to attend our church you would find that we simply stick to the basics: worship, teaching, prayer and relationships. The values that we hold to and are in the process of refinement are:
Truth

We believe that truth first exists with God and that He has communicated His truth to us through the Bible. We also value truth, or authenticity, in our relationship with each other.

Grace

We recognize God’s grace in our lives. He has forgiven us and so we freely share that forgiveness with others. That translates into being people who are learning patience, flexibility, compassion and unconditional love with others. Grace doesn’t ignore sin, it deals with it and forgives it.

Community

God has created us for relationship — for relationship with Him and relationship with each other. Our desire is to help people get connected with God and with each other. We believe community is doing life together — connecting.

Participation

God has called each one of us to use the talents and gifts He has given us to bless Him and others. That means we are participants, not merely consumers. Every person is a player on the team, not just a spectator.

Faith

God is pleased when we have faith in Him, when we learn to trust Him. Faith expresses our dependence upon Him. Prayer is one way we demonstrate our faith; action is another.

Our Beliefs
A Statement of Faith is a written declaration of the church’s position on matters that pertain to the essentials of historical Christianity. The following statements comprise Refuge Bible Fellowship’s Statement of Faith.
WE BELIEVE there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); and, His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-13, Revelation 19:14-16).
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18).
WE BELIEVE in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; John 5:24, Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and the inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21).
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
WE BELIEVE that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (1 John 4:16-17).
