Over 20 years ago the Lord transformed my life in a way that man could never get credit for. I was angry, and searching for meaning in life. In my search, I found drugs, a party all the time lifestyle, and drinking as a means of escaping reality. My anger destroyed friendships, relationships, and separated my family. My anger led me to be on trial, in jail, and without hope. The reality was that I was lost and I was destined for destruction. I found Christ at a service in 1993 at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs.
Pastor Raul Ries shared the simple truth of God’s word in a way that I felt that God was moving me like never before to open my heart to Him. I asked Christ into my heart and life and He has been working with me ever since. God had a plan for my life, which included my beautiful wife Michelle, and my two boys Noah and Nehemiah.
“I have been crucified with Christ so that, it is not longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
I have had the privilege of serving in the Calvary Chapel movement for over 20 years through College Ministry, youth ministry, outreach ministries, missions, teaching in Calvary Chapel Bible College, and as Assisting Pastor. The last 20 years have been exhilarating. The Lord has led me into opportunities to preach and exalt Christ. I believe what God has done in my life to be real and accessible.
